This site is run by Jitin Kapila through Kriyalytics Solutions, a sole proprietorship of Jitin Kapila, India. This policy explains what personal data the site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions: info@kriyalytics.com.
What we collect
- Newsletter and waitlist forms: your name and email address.
- The free AI Profit Quotient preview: the answers and email you submit.
- Booking a Clarity Call: the name, email and details you give when you book.
- Emailing us: your message and email address.
- Comments on posts: your GitHub username and what you write (see Comments below).
- Usage data: pages viewed, clicks on calls to action, scroll depth, device and approximate location, collected by analytics.
- Purchases: Razorpay processes payments; we receive confirmation, your name, email and billing details, not your card number.
Why we use it
- To send the newsletter or waitlist updates you asked for.
- To run calls and deliver the services you book or buy.
- To understand which pages and offers help visitors, and to improve the site.
- To keep records we are required to keep, such as invoices.
Who processes it
We use these providers. Each handles data under its own privacy terms.
- Systeme.io: newsletter and waitlist forms and email delivery.
- Tally: the free AI Profit Quotient preview form.
- Razorpay: payment processing for paid reports and courses.
- Cal.com: Clarity Call scheduling.
- Umami Cloud: cookieless website analytics.
- Google Analytics 4: website analytics. In the EU, UK and similar regions it runs with analytics storage denied by default until consent applies; elsewhere it measures anonymised usage.
- GitHub (giscus): the comment section on posts.
- Netlify: website hosting.
Cookies and analytics
Umami is cookieless. Google Analytics may set cookies where analytics storage is allowed. You can block them in your browser. Outbound links to LinkedIn, Upwork, Substack and others are governed by those sites.
Comments
Comments are provided by giscus and stored in GitHub Discussions. They are public, and GitHub processes your account data under its own policy. Do not post anything you want to keep private.
How long we keep it
Newsletter and waitlist details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Booking, payment and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and legal rules require (generally several years). Analytics data is kept in aggregated form and no longer than the provider allows (up to 14 months in Google Analytics).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@kriyalytics.com. Unsubscribe links are in every newsletter. Depending on where you live (for example India under the DPDP Act, or the EU or UK under GDPR) you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Legal basis and grievances
We handle personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and where they apply, the EU and UK GDPR. We rely on your consent (newsletter, comments, analytics where required), on performing a contract (bookings and purchases), and on legitimate interests (keeping the site secure and useful).
Grievance contact: Jitin Kapila, info@kriyalytics.com. We acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
Transfers and security
Our providers may process data in other countries. We use reputable providers and limit what we collect. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
This site is for business readers and is not aimed at children under 16.
Changes
We will update the date above when this policy changes.
